I see your point, Somegirl. There are a lot of things we don't know about the whole story, but there has to be some amount of truth to what we do know. And for that I think the other kid's mom is to blame. Parent's should not lead such a bad example and for that she should have her kids placed in foster care or with another relative. Maybe learn what it feels like to be without them. Of course she'll get hers back, though.

| Honestly, it is kind of pathetic that she committed suicide over something so stupid, and if she thinks that was "torture" than she has clearly never came into contact with 4chan, those guys are relentless when they feel like going after a person or website. |

You have to take her age and sheltered life into account with this situation. It was probably the most awful thing for her, having her perfect princess bubble popped, and being shown how people actually are.

It doesn't help at that age, teens are rather.......dumb. Most think that one little thing will unravel the delicate tapestry that is their existance. Be that as it may, the parents of the other teen shouldn't have done what they did. It just shows how ridiculous they are.

I'm a teen and I don't think like she probably did, then again I see myspace and other things as nothing but an example of the idiocy of this era. I tend to think of myself as a spectator to life so I just sit back and watch things such as this unfold. And seeing how this planet won't even see it through to the end of the universe I don't see why people are concerned with stupid things such as does *insert name* like me or not.

if not for the fact you may be JB and very young.. I'd be completely in love with you.
I agree that 4chan would have made her /wrists a LONG time before if they'd taken a liking to her. People on the internet are ruthless. Anonymous does not forgive.. even if you haven't done anything. I, too, am pretty heartless. When I hear stories about people committing suicide about drama on the internet.. all I can think is, "Thank god that somehow the human race is being cleansed."
People, in general, spend too much time focused on what other people think about them. They don't spend much time on what they think of themselves. More than anything.. I'm heartless towards this because there was a time in my life where even a good day was ten times worse than one of their bad days. I wish that time in my life was some dick pretending to like me somewhere out there in cyber space.
I do, however, feel for their families.

Yeah I do somewhat feel bad for the families because they got a stupid one. As for anonymous they only notice you if you put yourself out on the chopping board, if you keep your head down they never notice you. As for pain I have been very accident prone. My ankle was cut open by glass, a tennis ball hit my in my eye and scratched my cornea, luckily it wasn't too severe and it healed up nicely, then there was this time I fell down a flight of concrete stairs when I was two. The only thing I think I can say I hate more than people who commit suicide over such stupid things would either be people who sue over the most retarded things and win or the converter type of religious person.
